Since starting my meat journey, I've become more confident with it. With some additional equipment, I decided to dive deeper into the steak-making process and start making my OWN steaks. I’ve never done this before, and here’s my first try: I vacuum-packed this piece for “wet aging” and placed it in the refrigerator for a few days, let's see what happens next #foodstr image

For about six years, I’ve had kind of a hobby of watching and analyzing strategies and how predators survive. They’re the smallest group on Earth, even if we include all humans. I remember the first time I looked up how much big cats like pumas or panthers (which weigh around 100–120 kg, like me) eat on average per day or week. I found out they typically eat around 3–5 kg of meat per day, sometimes more, sometimes less, it was shocked knowing they can eat 15% of they body in a single day (about 10-20kg) At the time, I was surprised. It seemed unbearable and impossible for a human like me. Now, I eat an average of 1.5–2kg of meat a day, and sometimes I catch myself thinking that even 2.5–3kg doesn’t seem like that much anymore, I also found there are people that could eat 5-15kg of meat a day, sensational

Stopped feeling full from cottage cheese and cream, hunger comes much faster if I eat it. Craving meat more and more. Also, after a lot of time spent cooking, I finally understood why steaks are probably the best everyday food available.
