My thoughts on "last week with John Oliver"... He was stating that cryptocurrencies are a big scam. He compared how Celsius was suppose to be the next digital bank. He talked about how Celsius offered interest accounts and provided loans. But they ultimately invested the funds in risky investments and ended up going bankrupt. Sounds to me like silicon valley bank. And their risky investments. But he doesn't think the us dollar svb was banking for the public is a bad money. In both scenarios the "banks" were bad. Not the underlying money (usd vs crypto). He also talked about sbf and ftx. Similar scenario. Ftx was a bad actor/company. Not the underlying funds themselves. Similar to Madoff. Madoff had ponzi investment fund. But no one says stocks/equities are a bad underlying investment. Just crazy shit out there. The sentiment is not good in many peoples opinion. But it's truly their ignorance and bias. The bias is what really confuses me. Why so stubborn to learn? I was at a restaurant today and asked the lady at checkout, "do y'all take Bitcoin yet?". She said Bitcoin is bullshit. I didn't know quite what to say to that. So I asked her why? She says if I can't hold the money, then it's not real. I knew debating her would be a hopeless endeavor so I just left it at that. Mass adoption has a while to go I'm afraid. But so be it.

There's news out today about a Satoshi era whale moving $60 million worth of coins. This is not news worthy. Everyday there's some activity from old wallets. See the image for all transactions from yesterday. I circled the transaction the news is referencing. Notice there are plenty of older wallets with transactions. This graph looks very similar everyday. No big deal.

Bitcoin privacy question... If I have several Bitcoin addresses that are generated from my xpub. And say I receive BTC into one address. But I send later from another address (two addresses but in reality same wallet). Is it traceable such that someone would know those two addresses are from same wallet?

Here's an awesome thought for ya... Saylor has mentioned that he intends to donate his fortune to his saylor university. Wouldn't it be awesome if BTC goes to greater than 10million per coin . And his legacy with his university gives anyone that wants a college degree to have it for free. No more college debt. Anyone with the passion to learn can succeed, regardless of where they live and how much money they have.. Think how outstanding that would be.
