I thought Ditto would be easy to recommend to everyone but ran into many issues. Even the advertised ditto username is still not working. Had to post this from primal because ditto says blocked? Does anyone know why nostr can't follow activitypub account? I'm using ditto pub to follow pixelfed and didn't receive any follow notification. Who and where this post will end up and that's the problem with nostr! Missing different interactions from other users has to be my least favorite design of nostr and this is similar to activitypub where some people think you have not replied (or like/share etc). Had to switch to another client (primal) because ditto pub went offline. 502 Bad gateway message from cloudflare With nostr you can easily switch. I wasn't successful when trying to scan. I'm using @Ditto by Soapbox and tried to zap a post then it says invalid. The web client will still show the post as being zap. I ended up manually typing person's address. Did you find a solution? View quoted note →
