#GM 🫡🌞 Coming from an Npub with 600+ followers (if the numbers can be trusted 😅) to this new one has been interesting to see what it is like for newcomers here. You need to work real hard to build up follows and start getting interactions. The only way is to interact heavily with others posts, it's why cOntEnt CreAtoorS struggle to stay on board here! I had forgotten what the first few weeks/months of nostr were like, this is a great reminder. I think, if I didn't already know the value of Nostr, if I was a "normie", it probably wouldn't hold my attention through the grinding first few months. But ultimately I think it reflects life better. Just like irl, Nostr requires proof of work, building up trust over time... People will see your continued notes, values and interactions and gradually over time you build the community of trusted npubs around you. This is part of what makes nostr such a wholesome space!
