I imagine that a non-zero number of Bitcoiners have used vanity seed phrases of some non-trivial sorts. Did anyone ever "find" such Bitcoin? In addition to finding small hashes we can now also mine the human psyche for coins.
I finished reading "Fraud Coin - 1000 Years with Inflation as a Policy" by @Rune Østgård. Great for people who wish to get a solid 30,000 ft overview of what is happening in the financial world and how this affects all of us. Most people would probably prefer to read about more joyful topics. If you read this book and take decisive action, you will likely be able to read whatever you want whenever you want (just ignore the fact that I am already in that position and still choose to read Rune's excellent book). You will find a lot of straight truths like: "The voters' belief of whether the government has contributed to growth or precipitated a recession is a decisive factor for a sitting government's reelection. All incumbent governments also know that raising interest rates when necessary is likely to burst the bubbles, predictably leading to a lost election and inevitable change of government. Therefore, everyone in government is incentivized to convince the central bank to pursue an expansionary monetary policy with low interest rates that can create the illusion of growth, encouraging people to increase their borrowing, thus heightening the demand for more goods and services."
The most empowering feeling I experience is letting things go. Life is naturally overwhelming: an entire universe calls for our attention, while our capacity to read, learn, understand, and apply is finite. If I am stressed (happening rarely), I cherish the stress as an essential signal (no kidding) and take a break to re-prioritize. Realize that you are the master of your life, and unload to the point where you enjoy working on the rest. The week, the month, the year, and life each perhaps deserve its priorities. In my concrete situation (silver beard, lots of time at my disposal, and lots of projects running), I feel this is the moment to drop serious coding (which I loved) 🍀 .

It is incredible how far we have come in the last year and a half. The broader market is starting to recognize Bitcoin as the outstanding asset for which we have seen it for a long time. Larry Fink is doing its bidding. The DOE agreed to cancel its plans to "emergency-survey" Bitcoin miners and to delete related data received or to be received—Lindy effect in full play. Even in our erratic world, it is still reasonable to expect a rational outcome.
I enjoyed listening to @Samson Mow and his rational takes. Thanks, @petermccormack, for fostering relevant conversations.
Perspective 1: I made a great investment in Bitcoin racking up my portfolio performance. Perspective 2: Awhy did I leave most of my wealth behind on the FIAT Titanic?
