Close to finishing up NIP-65 support for the broadcasting side of filter.nostr.wine 🚀 In addition to our usual list of public relays, we will soon also broadcast your notes to your “write” relays and any tagged user’s “read” relays.

This is one of the best parts of paid relays - we haven’t had to ban anyone on nostr.wine. With our larger free relay aggregator (filter.nostr.wine) we use basic rate limits and repetitive content filters to prevent storing a large amount of notes that aren’t being read. Global requests on filter.nostr.wine are limited to your individual web of trust (follows+follows) by default, so even if there is spammy content (out of your WoT) on our relay - you won’t see it! I’m officially a cloud sell out. Starting to slowly migrate my bare metal kubernetes cluster to a managed solution. I learned a lot running that but ultimately the juice is not worth the squeeze. One click version updates alone are worth the price increase.

I’ve got a new 🍷 nostr.wine landing page to finish and release today. It’s only the first phase of our new site migration since we plan on integrating all of our relays and services in one place.
