It's always amusing/entertaining to see people accuse you of being something, because you said/did a joke, as they don't comprehend that it's a joke or sarcasm, and think that you actually believe in the thing you joked about, even after presenting direct counter thoughts/beliefs, with receipts, showcasing that their assumption is the farthest from the truth. Always entertaining to see how dense people behave x3 Example: Me: "Look at me! *pretend eating bugs. Anyway, I recorded a video of myself squashing bugs in a funny way. Wanna see?" Other: "You're a bug-loving eater!" Me: "??? x3"

For reference (and thinking writing this is cute): @DEG Mods 's "Pizza Day" version of the event happened on 06/10/2024. (DD/MM/YY) Where a mod, that was being actively censored/suppressed around that time, obtained censorship resistance. Not sure what to call that day. It can be as simple as 'Liberation Day' (in line with the slogan), signifying the start of modders being free from being under the control, authority, and oppression of anyone.

Considering what's happening with tech today, I think #nostr clients, that have E2EE DMs, should have a quick popup note (with a 'don't show this to me again' checkbox) informing users that: "While Direct Messages are encrypted, be aware that your mobile or PC manufacturer may already be spying on your screen by taking screenshots, recording your screen, and/or logging your keyboard presses, capturing what you're about to send before it gets encrypted. This renders encrypted messaging meaningless unless you take appropriate measures to ensure you are not being monitored." I'll have that on my client (hopefully I remember) when the DM system gets implemented (hopefully I remember to do that x3).

X/Twitter is doing what I thought of in regards to editing an already published post: The original post is still there, but is now attatched/connect to the new/corrected one, with the old having visual adjustments applied to it (along with a note) to tell the user that this has been discarded and they should check the new one. In essense: An edit isn't modifying the original post, but creating a new one that binding/chaining them together. This solves relays having a headache of a time managing short posts, solves deception, kind of solves relays having different info, and half-solves the user wanting to correct their post. This is the way. #nostr #nostrdesign

I tuned in to see The Blood Of Dawnwalker livestream where it was mentioned they'll show gameplay. It's the first game from Rebel Wolves, led by members (directors/leads, etc) who worked on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In the live stream, they say: "make sure you stick around all the way through, because we also have a very brief, but very real, gameplay teaser as well" Cool, they'll actually show gameplay. I watched it until the end, and they showed in-engine footage. They did not show any gameplay but rather told people they'd show gameplay "this summer." I see studios are still doing this garbage in [current year] where it's either a miscommunication at best or a straight-up lie/deception at worst. I'm tired. It's not hard for them to say "We'll be showing in-engine footage, with a later date to show proper gameplay." *sigh Anyway, the theme and idea sound great, and the music sounds great too. Past few days (and probably the next few days as well) was a lot of work in regards to marketing/managing @DEG Mods , my eyes hurt x3 Gotta take on those opportunities when they appear. But also, yes, again, the biggest issue/friction for Nostr is definitely the login/registration.

@greenart7c3 now that browsers and PC clients are adding Amber login via QR, one UX issue present is the process of reconnecting/relogging-in. With that said, are there plans to add a method to 'reconnect'? Currently, scanning a QR again leads to a new connection entry in Amber every time. Example scenario: 1. Login with QR on a nostr site with Amber. 2. Logout on/from the site. 3. Repeat 1. Result: Amber now has two connection entries for the same site.
