Commissioned an artist to create the mascot for @DEG Mods , just saw the sketch and my face went "XD". Looks awesome!
Will be DMing a wolf expert here on Nostr to get their opinion, and getting thoughts from other friends as well, to see if there's a need for any edits before finalizing.

I guess I'm one of those #vtubers.
Having fun talking about general topics, vrchat/similar, and games. Also #indiedev #gamedev. You can call me: Freak فْرِيكٌ フリク (still learning Nihongo).

Just got explained Pablo's new follow kind "ya, this makes sense and its pretty useful" =3
Not sure if it'd be implemented on @DEG Mods , but if it does get added, and can add however long kind number for the site's follow, then i'd just convert "GAMEMODS" to numbers and slap '711351315419' to it, and assume others would do the same so I'd convert it back to text.
The reason why I'd want to know other site's numbers is so that there'd be a toggle/dropdown that's "Show follows from: GAMEMODS (MARKETPLACES, HEALTHINSURANCE, SPORTSNEWS)" so any of those that come up via search, or "ALL"
That's how I'm thinking about it anyway, but again, not sure if/when it'd be implemented.

kind-scoped follow by pablof7z · Pull Request #1605 · nostr-protocol/nips
This proposal does NOT (necessarily) replace kind:3, it's a way to do a very simple follow of one or more kinds that might be of interest.
A us...
@makomichi the wolf of weeb street your page looks nice on Olas https://olas.app/npub1l4vcnh06mk0z4akwhzmrjs4fuvdnwdn73xghjv0duwew5a5z8ugq6zur0c
You know what would be a good discovery system for nostr, not for absolutely new users, but for those who followed a friend or more, or was brought into nostr by someone and they followed them, is to have a "Follows' Feed".
Scenario:
1. I followed two of my friends on nostr, as a new user
2. I see their posts, but they barely post.
3. I'm not sure who else to follow, and I'm not sure what hashtags to look at, as well as checking out the public feed is just garbage/chaos
4. I see a tab called "Follows' Feed" and I tap it.
5. It shows posts from all the people that my two friends (that i follow) are following, and considering they're my friends, there'd be a high likely chances that I'd see posts that I would want to see and start following such accounts, building up my own follow list and solving that issue.
6. A nice to have is an option for that specific tab to uncheck feeds I don't want to see / check what I want to see.
I'd personally love to see this =3

This looks really good (production quality wise)

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark on Steam
Take control of the demon sisters Kirika and Masha as they attempt to revive their Demon Lord Maxim and rebuild their castle in this 2D action Metr...
Wrote this. (The thing I mentioned before to explain how @DEG Mods is censorship resistant, even if it doesn't host the mod files, and for those who don't know how nostr works).
Not sure if It's normie enough or not (simplified the explanation as much as I can think of). If any got a chance to read it and if there's anything wrong, hit me up

I just realized that I can look here for artists =P
If anyone knows an artist with an anime artist, Japanese (since #nostrasia was a thing) or otherwise, and can accept work-for-hire commissions/work, to potentially create a proper mascot for @DEG Mods , and would accept bitcoin for payment (native or lightning/zap), then please mention them to me (or mention yourself if you are one).
#asknostr #jp #art #artstr #japan #anime
I've considered Skeb, since they accept Bitcoin, but they only provide full copyright to the creator, so that's not an option for me / the project to go with.
Seems like I need to explain how @DEG Mods / #nostr works, for those pointing how it isn't censorship-resistant, and have it up on the landing page, because some think that because the files are handled by other sites, the mod can be censored, (understandable misunderstanding) even though there is a recent example of how that wasn't a big issue, not even a medium one, when an entity was trying to take down a creator's mod (surprise: it was the most resilient one out of all the options they've tried. They did a cute thing btw, will share it on the DEG profile after this).
Might as well explain why a browser extension and/or apps are needed as well for 'registration'/'login'.
Will also explain the future implementation of Blossom along the way (bring that censorship resistance to the mod files too, making that above small issue a tiny one).
I kind of used to watch Captain Tsubasa as a kid, and haven't really watched anything football related stuff ever since (and i'm not a football person either an don't watch that stuff usually).
However, Blue Lock is fucking awesome! XD

I think the concept of just raw Value-for-Value, on its own, with no paywall upfront to gate something of value, can't be relied on for making a living out of it, but can be relied on as a showcase of good will from people every now and then, or as close as always but with negligible amounts.
People should change their perspective on it and think back to old fashioned "I'm selling this value product for this value amount".
Let's call what people have been trying to push in the first part Free V4V, and the old fashioned way Priced V4V, both under the umbrella of V4V.
Examples of a health combo where one markets the other and the other funds the first:
1. A 2 hour podcast is free free, where the extended version that has another 30 minutes of content is behind a paywall or subscription.
2. The first chapter of a video game is free, and to play the rest you'd have to buy the game.
3. Streaming: You're watching and commenting for free, but if you want your comment to be more prominent and have a better chance of capturing the attention of the host, that's when you pay up.
Even when it was being pushed as a main FV4V with Zaps on Nostr, it was actually PV4V where zaps were making your profile more prominent on a post and you could advertise whatever you want as a bonus with an associated comment.
If you want to have a higher chance of success, don't think of just giving away stuff for free, put your perceived value on it, or part of it, and people who see its value will conduct with you a V4V transaction, otherwise it's just Value for Free (you know, I think that's a better term, V4V is fully or partially priced product, V4F is just free shit with the hopes of being compensated (when most of the time you won't).
> Woke up
> Press power button on laptop
> Nothing
> Tried fixing. Nothing
> Most likely motherboard dead
> Sad. It's a 3070 too so stil very usable
> Bad time to spend, but got new laptop
> Might be blessing in disguise though, considering current life situation, so might not be so bad
