When I was a child, I was the one who ran to my parents whenever I had something to complain about. Now, it's my dad who comes to me with his stories and concerns. ❤️
My dad visited me today, and honestly, there's nothing more comforting than sharing a cup of coffee with him while we talk. I'm still a certified Daddy's girl, no matter how old I get. I love him so much.
I told him that if he ever wanted to, he could stay with us so I wouldn't have to keep worrying about him. Things haven't been easy between him and my sibling, and I know that as people grow older, they can become more sensitive.
Today, he had so many things to tell me. I simply listened. I didn't take sides because I know every story has two sides. Sometimes, our parents don't need us to fix everything—they just need someone who will listen.
