They said , BRICS+ countries could not switch to another reserve currency, because no other currency (like Yuan for example) has the depth and liquidity and legal frameworks… But they did not count on gold*. China and other countries are dumping their $ reserves and buying gold on an increasing pace. This move towards non-currency money, will work out positively for Bitcoin.

The instance runner is just a benevolent dictator. I'm not interested in being a dictator and lost interterest. Instances are also blanket banning other instances. This means the whole ActivityPub universe was just a patchy-verse, and able to block Bitcoiners out. But, it's biggest offense is that Users don't own their identity & data. Mastodon is not decentralized, it's just someone else's computer. Time to evolve 🚀; Nostr is the much needed protocol upgrade. Nostr is a simple, open protocol that enables truly censorship-resistant and global value-for-value publishing on the web.
