turns out having different follow lists in different clients is an interesting experience.

I saw
and now I am curious: are there more people from the external world talking about nostr? what are they saying? mostly I am interested in knowing what are their criticisms.
Panic
a bunch of mfs interacted with my post using what I assume were "likes":

I spent the entirety of november using just nostr and almost the entire december using just twitter. I can tell you that the twitter UX is seriously broken in many aspects and nostr is just more pleasant.
is there any nostr.tld domain still available? would be nice to have one for a documentation page for newcomer developers, but I won't pay more than $10 for it.
alphaama is back 8)
I don't even know how to call these, but the fiatjaf nostr fund has just sent its first 5000000 sat payments to pseudozach, sondre bjellas, blake japokovic and to the guy making nosky, the android client.
web workers are a scam that bleed into the UI thread
Why https://coracle.social shows me a feed of people I don't follow and am not interested in following?
wss://expensive-relay.fiatjaf.com/ only has some of my own posts, which are also in all other relays, and probably no one else is publishing to there. and yet my server is going crazy with thousands of requests most of which return empty results but still hammer the database every single time. what have I done wrong?
so did we cut all corners and p2p stuff in order to make a decentralized social network that was fast and worked, but in the end what we got was a lot of very slow clients that can't handle the traffic of one jack dorsey tweet?
Jack Dorsey has sent me money to fund Nostr development.
Since we don't have a Nostr-based shareable text editor, I've made this Google Document thing with ideas that were in my head on how to use this money in the way that is the best for the project: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10xKQIO969GoNnAEnoMgJky69lG-_TslnqO4uIfioi1Y/edit
These are just ideas, nothing is final. Please comment there (or here) with whatever you may be thinking.
