Different type of problem, but I really couldn't believe this, came out of a Guild.
The saddle slot was not deep enough, and so the joint between the shim and saddle was nearly flush with the top of the slot! Thus the forward bend/lean.
And finally my replacement on bottom, not yet finished, but I feel it shows the dramatic difference.
