Ok got my #Bitaxe up and running to a new, clean wallet after about 45min ago. Now I have an excuse to bitch approximately every 15min that a block got mined by someone else!

While #cities were necessary in the dawn of humanity; cities now are more danger than they are worth. I posit that if we just all agreed that cities were not our best means of #society and instead everyone just lived off of roads and highways instead of streets, humanity would thrive. I suspect if cities were abolished completely: A)#Crime rates would plummet; ——harder for fugitives to run or lay low(no crowds) ——easy access crimes would be vastly reduced (mugging) ——a less busy area makes people out of place conspicuous ——public transport horrors would be gone B)More Harmonious Desegregation; ——Less reason to form slums or segregated neighborhoods (Chinatown or Bowery Slums) ——Less incentive to form gangs (would require more strategy to police much more vast areas) ——Wealth disparity will be more easily distinguished from lack of opportunity and lack of drive C)Traffic accidents would be greatly reduced; ——fewer bubbles of high concentration leading to congestion ——less stoplights ——less stressful environment with simpler layouts D)Government would quickly become much more irrelevant to people and rightfully weaker ——When you aren’t constantly affected by your neighbors’ actions, the need for police is much less. ——Also no need for restrictive town halls, city councils, or HOAs telling you what you can or cannot do with your own property (as if the interests of the city must be preserved before the interests of it’s constituents—HA!) ——No #city tax ——no mayoral salary ———no lords of the land presiding over peasants E)Trains Independence ——Living along a rural highway it is understood that you will not have a hospital nearby if you’re injured, or a policeman within minutes of you to protect you if you’re attacked(which really only exists for the more affluent anyhow). That means, you more naturally train yourself to know how to defend yourself and your home; and you rely largely on your own wit or trusted neighbors for survival. I already know what you’re thinking. Cities have such a high density of population, there’d be no room for them, but: -The population of the US is 345,212,572. -The US is ~2,260,000,000 acres large. —That’s enough room for each person to have more than 6.5acres to themselves. ——just to add, most would be families living together making for more room.
