Been buying bitcoin since 2018. I particularly like http://river.com. The Bitcoin White Paper http://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
Christ is Lord.
It's fun to think things are finally breaking, but they still have three more years before they have to lock us down again.
I can't worry about all the stuff in the world they want me to worry about. I mean what am I supposed to do about fires in Oregon or some strange disease killing elephants in Africa? I don't have the emotional energy for the entire world's problems.
All I know is that it is 109 degrees in Texas today, and I have weeds to pull.
It's fun but probably going to bart.
How does the Treasury buy back long-term debt without printing money?
This is a long road, but what other road are you going to walk?
Last time we ended up with a new coin from a split, bitcoin exploded up 10x and the other one went on to irrelevance.
I guess the miners finally won one.
Feels like attack week in bitcoin.
Anyone have a guide to the Bip-110 fork on Sat?
There is a reason why I have gone to just one bitcoin conference (2023 Texas Blockchain Council - which is a stupid name and besides having dinner with politicians was a waste of time) since getting into bitcoin in Jan 18. And it's not because of cost.
It's because I have zero interest in rubbing shoulders with influencers or being seen with them. My decisions regarding my bitcoin aren't perfect, but I didn't listen to any of them in any meaningful way at any point. I listened to people who had nothing to gain by giving me advice. That's worked out pretty well so far.
This coldcard thing is disappointing, but it will have about as much longer term effect on future users as Mt Gox had on me. I knew nothing about it until I had already built much of my stack.
Influencers who made money promoting coinkite rn

Does coldcard have no liability here?
Tell me again why we are sad the bitcoin price won't go up? I've been stacking like a crazy person this summer.
They're already talking about sharing AI's wealth with the public. Sounds great, but how do share the wealth of something that gobbles every dollar it can get and emediately turns those dollars into losses?
Busy time of year. The travels are getting ready to start up again. How long until October?
My mood pretty much any time I have to be in Ohio.

It's been nice being back in a bitcoin buying mode. Ongoing medical issues with my kid has slowed us down this year. You can't always time these things, but bitcoin came down and stayed down for just the right amount of time. It's been a good summer so far on the home front.
And frankly, it's a good feeling keeping my extra money out of the system and away from fiat markets.
Christianity wasn't a new innovation. It was the relentless march of God's plan to establish a people for himself who could serve along with him in the Divine Council to rule his creation as a family.
A third of the beings who were a part of the original divine council rebelled. From there they sought to poison humanity with selfishness, bind it with evil and convince it to also rebel (sin) against God.
Jesus came to rescue us from that sin and the works of Satan, to end the Seed War, and put down the three rebellions.
This is the story of the Bible.
