In Plainfield, IL, a 71 year old man is in custody for stabbing to death an 6-year-old Palestinian child named Wadea Al-Fayoume & nearly killing his mother.😓 The murderer stabbed the child 26 times & yelled "you Muslims must die!"😳 No charges filed yet. The Israeli army has issued an order for the immediate relocation of 1.1M Palestinians from northern Gaza to the south in 24 hours. The UN has categorically condemned this order. Forcing 1.1M people, including 550K kids, to evacuate in 24 hours or be bombed to death is even more cruel considering THERE’S NOWHERE TO EVACUATE TO. We need a ceasefire. The response to war crimes against civilians cannot be more war crimes against more civilians. I’m horrified that this is a controversial take.

Auto workers are demanding a 40% raise to match the 40% pay increase CEOs of the Detroit automakers got over the past 4 years. CEOs are calling this absurd, but they couldn't be more wrong. THIS IS A COMPROMISE. Why? Because worker's real wages have fallen 30% over the past 20 years. They're foregoing 16 years of wage theft for 4 of equity, and consistent equity going forward.
