I know many of you got angry at the fact that Tescos have called their tree ‘Evergreen’ instead of Christmas tree, but all I see is comms….
President Trump recently put out ‘Evergreen’ comms on his truth social, aiming it at Hiliary Clinton and her connection to child trafficking through shipping containers ‘Evergreen’ and the Clinton foundation. Which btw Hiliary Clintons secret service code name is ‘Evergreen’. Oh, and Hillary and Bill Clinton were close to paedophile Jeffery Epstein, Bill Clinton was an Epstein Island regular. What’s flooding the news right now? Epstein and the Epstein files.
Back to ‘Evergreen’…..In 2022 reports came out that Tescos (giant supermarket in the UK) were hit by lawsuits because of allegations of modern slavery and child exploitation, primarily involving migrant workers/children in Thailand and India. Tesco denied the allegations to all forms of modern slavery and child labor, and still does to this day. Despite 100’s of allegations from Tesco workers in the South and South Wast Asia.
In December 2022, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Tesco by 130 former Burmese migrant workers from a Thai factory (VKG) that supplied F&F clothing. The workers alleged they were trapped in effective forced labor and debt bondage, working seven days a week for illegally low wages (as little as £3 a day).
The legal claim also asserted that a child of one worker was raped by an employee because the mother was forced to work excessive overtime and could not supervise her child.
In October 2024, three human traffickers were jailed for exploiting 16 victims who were forced to work at a bakery that supplied major supermarkets, including Tesco. Signs of exploitation, such as paying ‘multiple workers' wages into a single bank account, were reportedly missed for years.
I just find it interesting that this year Tescos have called their tree ‘Evergreen’, knowing it would go viral with people showing their anger and rage, with some of us pointing out, Tescos being linked to trafficking and modern day slave Labor.
And check this out…..One of the factories that was used by Tesco,was in ‘Mae Sot’ which is on the border of Myanmar. At the Start of 2022, Tesco announced a plan for 'responsible' exit from Myanmar amid continued labour rights violations. So even though Tesco denying they were involved in Slave Labor and Trafficking, they soon made a quick exit from a major child trafficking epicentre.
For those who don’t know, Myanmar is the largest drug & child trafficking country in the world, it’s also part of the golden triangle.
In 2022, the same year as Tescos gets a lawsuit slapped on them, a court jailed State councillor of Myanmar and human trafficker Aung San Suu Kyi for an extra 7 years in a closed trial for corruption. Taking the total to 33 years. Suu Kyi was also close to the Clintons and Obamas.
Tescos have always treated their staff like slaves, in 2015 reports came out that Tesco was condemned for failing to pay the Living Wage to shop workers, while turning failed executives into millionaires. Their shares have even taken a nose dive other the years, because of various revelations about them.
And recently….back in February of this year, foreign secretary David Lammy made a plea for the release of Aung San Suu Kyi who is being held in Myanmar for corruption and human/child trafficking.
There has been reshuffles with Tesco CEO’s for years.
Oh, and Vanguard and Blackrock are the main shareholders of Tesco. So yeah, Tescos are corrupt to the core.
