From 2018 when $BTC was about $4k, would work whatever extra hrs that were going, 12hr shifts, Saturday & Sunday mornings, Bank Holidays. I used to frequently buy Bitcoin back then but only as an on ramp so I could swap for Alts and chase fairytale riches, a similar mistake was made with stocks buying microcap junk instead of sticking to index trackers, funds, etf's. Simple dca buys into $BTC would've far outperformed any bullshit I was chasing.

There's a guy on YouTube called Blacktail Studios who makes tables, mostly using wood & resin. Watched one of his videos the other day where he charged $35k for 2 slabs of wood with black resin down the middle, the base was just steel and being fabricated by someone else, to be fair to the guy he admitted he didn't really want the job (short notice etc) so priced it high, but $35k? There's no doubt the guy is experienced in what he does and is meticulous with his work; the sanding, finishing etc. But $35k for $2.8k's worth of wood slabs (don't know the species but that's what he paid) and some resin. Not sure I'm a fan of those resin tables tbh, look at the craftsmanship and materials used in an antique you could buy for that kind of money... Victorian era solid pollard oak, canted corners, inlaid marquetry, hand carved frieze, hand carved legs, brass castors. Maybe some people aren't into old fogey antiques but I know which I'd rather have.
