You can’t stay at the starting line forever.
“Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.”
Hebrews 6:1 (ESV)
Foundations matter. You can’t build anything worth keeping without one. But a foundation is meant to be built on — not lived on.
Some of us spend years circling the same ground with God. We start and stop. We keep revisiting the same lessons. We ask for the same forgiveness but never move into what comes next.
Growth means building on what God has already done in you. It means trusting that the basics are secure, so you can step into deeper obedience, bolder faith, and greater love.
The starting line is exciting, but it’s not the destination. The race was meant to be run.
So take a step. Try something new in your walk with God. Forgive that person you’ve been avoiding. Serve in a way that stretches you. Open your Bible to a book you’ve never studied before. Pray a prayer that feels too big.
You were made for more than the start.
Father, thank You for the foundation You’ve given me in Christ. Help me to build on it with courage and faith. Move me from what’s familiar into what will grow me. Don’t let me settle when You’ve called me forward. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Notes (20)
Me and my wife are both 37.
Never been a pro athlete or any superstar in fitness.
We have 4 kids. Life is crazy.
That being said.
We signed up for our first marathon, it’s in 33 days. Think we got this?
Who knows. We’re going to do everything we can to complete it.
Wish us luck 🫶🏽
Training starts now.

It’s funny. I have 100k followers on IG, and 56k sub on YouTube but somehow I feel more connected with people here. Love you bro, can’t wait to get back to Costa and hang again 🤙🏽
“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son…”
Hebrews 1:1–2 (ESV)
We live in a world full of noise. News. Podcasts. Opinions. Advice. Everybody’s got a voice.
But this verse reminds us that the God who created everything still speaks — and He speaks through Jesus.
That changes everything.
It means God isn’t silent about your situation. He isn’t distant from your decisions. He isn’t waiting for you to figure it out alone. He’s still guiding. Still leading. Still making Himself known.
And He doesn’t just speak to “super spiritual” people. He speaks to anyone willing to listen. In the car. In the kitchen. On a run. In the middle of a busy workday.
The challenge isn’t whether God is speaking. The challenge is whether we’re making space to hear Him.
So today, slow down just enough to listen. Open your Bible. Pray like you actually believe He’ll answer. Pay attention to the way He nudges your heart through a conversation or a verse or even a moment of silence.
He is speaking. The question is — are we tuned in?
Father, thank You for still speaking today. Thank You for Jesus who shows me Your heart. Help me quiet the noise long enough to hear Your voice and respond. Speak clearly, Lord, and give me the courage to obey. In Jesus’ name, amen.
It’s my bday today 🥳
37 trips around the sun.
Big year for our family.
2 years ago I quit the corporate grind to seek the plans God actually had for me, found them and have been so blessed.
Today we dropped our kids off at school and it was the first day in our 15 year marriage that we both didn’t have to go off to work somewhere else, but we now are working together.
God is so undeniably Good!

Speak Life
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21
Words have power.
Not just emotional power…but spiritual, directional, destiny-shaping power.
From the very beginning, we see God speak the world into existence. He didn’t form creation with His hands…He formed it with His voice. And as image-bearers of God, our words carry weight too.
One careless word can tear someone down. One intentional word can call someone up. A single sentence can demolish a dream… or resurrect one.
Think about that.
How many miracles have been delayed…not because God wasn’t able…but because we weren’t speaking in alignment with His promise?
The Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means every day, in every conversation…at work, in your home, with your team, in your own mind…you’re either releasing life… or planting seeds of death.
But here’s the good news: you get to choose.
You get to choose to speak faith over fear. Victory over defeat. Healing over brokenness. Peace over chaos. Promise over problems.
I believe God is calling each of us today to open the door to the miraculous…with our words.
Speak life over your business.
Speak life over your family.
Speak life over your health, your future, your calling.
Miracles begin with declarations that agree with Heaven.
Father, help me steward my words with purpose. Let me speak life, not death… hope, not fear… truth, not doubt. Align my voice with Yours. Let my words open the door for Your power to move…in my life and in the lives of those around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
(My friend sent me this and I had to share)
I’ve been blessed to cross paths with some epic human beings. And though I’ve had a podcast for about 2 years I never really focused on it. But…
It’s legit fun to highlight the good, bad, and inspiring people have been though. This podcast with Pete Nelson was setup in a jungle. I think that’s where I’ll be shooting them all now. The video came out insane. Go see on my YT channel when you finish reading this.
The main point to this post is this:
Who would you like to see on my podcast next and what topics are you interested in hearing?

Took me 2 full days but well worth it

Went foiling today and ran over something big in the lake.
Swam away quick.
Thinking Gator, Turtle, or Mermaid.

Getting so much work done but the lake is glass and the boat is full of gas…
I really want to go foil right now.
Anyone know how to drive a Nautique?
Oh wait, my wife does. Later ✌🏽
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately…
How many leaders, business owners, or managers lose their best people — not because of money, opportunity, or loyalty — but because they made their top performers feel… tolerated?
Think about it.
You build a team. You watch someone rise up. They deliver results. They sacrifice weekends and time. They carry your brand on their back…
And somewhere along the way, you stop seeing them as a person and start seeing them as a position, or worse, and Expense.
You tolerate their quirks.
You tolerate their requests.
You tolerate their questions.
But you never honor their impact.
And eventually… they leave.
Not because they’re ungrateful.
Not because they want more money.
But because being tolerated slowly erodes every ounce of trust and loyalty they had.
If you lead people — in business, on a team, in your home — ask yourself:
Am I truly valuing the people around me?
Or have I started to just tolerate them?
If you dont know, ask.
Be open to honesty and be prepared to possibly get your feelings hurt.
Whatever you do, do not get defensive.
Since I’ve be been posting a little more openly about why I left my 20 year career in the family business, I’ve had an outpouring of private messages and conversations with many other high performers who are feeling the same way that I felt.
My encouragement is that they have open conversations with the people making them feel like they’re being tolerated.
So, ask.
Because high performers aren’t usually chasing a bigger paycheck…
They’re looking for a place where they’re seen, valued, and called higher.
Don’t wait until they’re gone to realize what they brought to the table.
Leadership isn’t just getting people to perform.
It’s creating an environment where people WANT TO perform, and Stay.
I’ve been on the hunt for organic and natural shorts that fit my active life. Been through a bunch, but found a pair that I’m loving. Ryker
Solid non toxic athletic wear that I’ve work in all my daily activities and they hold up. I asked them for a discount, so “MAUS” saves if you want to try.
Or if you have some other recommendations, send them my way!
I like short, flexible, zipper pockets for running, and with liner. These have them.

Home. 🫶🏽
My kids got bored while waiting for our flight. Boredom is when they get creative. We embrace it

If you knew you were 30 failures away from your goal, how fast would you want to fail?
Exactly 👌🏽
Fun Fact: Kids don’t need lectures on fitness, they don’t need to be scared into it, they just need to see you doing it. And if it looks fun, they will join you.
We’ve been training outside together a lot lately, in the Florida sun, barefoot most days, breathing fresh air, lifting light weights, and moving with purpose.
I’m not trying to raise professional athletes.
I’m trying to raise daughters who are comfortable being strong and who see health as the norm.
We usually finish with a 30-second cold plunge. To us, that’s the sweet spot for cooling inflammation, boosting recovery, and supporting a healthy nervous system without interfering with muscle growth.
Short dips like that?
✅ They’re safe
✅ They’re invigorating
✅ And they’re a powerful way to teach resilience
If you’re a dad:
You don’t need the perfect gym or the perfect plan.
You just need to show up, move with them, and make it fun.
Let movement be normal. Let effort be expected.
Let recovery be part of the rhythm.
And thank you Desert Plunge for bringing families like mine a fool proof cold plunge for our gym. Easy to recommend. It’s always on, always clean, and always cold. Yall are awesome 🫶🏽

Over the last few days, I gave a $10,000 sauna to a local youth pastor and another $13,000 sauna to my mother in law who’s been a school teacher for 30 years. I’m not saying this for praise, the saunas cost me $0. I review them and brands send me an outrageous amount of products. The craziest thing happened…
So the day I gave away, delivered, and built the expensive sauna, a local guy was building a gym at his house and wanted to gift me with an entire Rogue outdoor rig, and then 2 new brands reached out to offer to work together. The value was well over the 2 saunas.
Point here is this. I could have sold these free saunas to someone willing to pay. But boy it felt great to give them to people who could/would never be able to pay that kind of money for them.
And then the biggest point. You can’t out-give God. Every time I’ve ever given something of value, I’ve received something worth much more than fiat money and it’s never ever failed.
God is good, bitcoin is great, health is wealth. 🫶🏽
Pancake lense on the FX3 dump. Been loving these old school shots lately. 4th was fun
