Italy had the largest-scale participant protests in 2025 relative to its population, with ~3.4% turnout in the October Gaza actions. Is that why I have seen so many Italians at tech confs recently in the US? Is Italy’s govt about to collapse?

"SAN JOSE, Calif.—Google LLC is accused in a civil lawsuit of using its artificial intelligence program Gemini to collect data on users’ private communications in Gmail as well as Google’s instant messaging and video conference programs. Until around Oct. 10, the Gemini AI assistant required the user to deliberately opt into its feature. After that date, the feature was allegedly “secretly” turned on by Google for all its users’ Gmail, Chat, and Meet accounts by default, enabling AI to track its users’ private data in those platforms “without the users’ knowledge or consent,” according to the complaint filed Nov. 11 in federal court in San Jose." ### Original Bloomberg Article (First Reported) - ### The Epoch Times Article - https://www.theepochtimes.com/tech/google-sued-for-allegedly-using-gemini-ai-tool-to-track-users-private-communications-2025-11-16 ### Quartz Article - https://qz.com/google-gemini-ai-lawsuit-privacy-gmail-chat-meet-1851678901 ### Business Standard Article - https://www.business-standard.com/technology/tech-news/google-sued-for-allegedly-using-gemini-ai-to-secretly-track-user-data-125111200603_1.html ### ZeroHedge Article - ### Additional Coverage - ClassAction.org: - The Economic Times: - Moneycontrol: https://www.moneycontrol.com/technology/google-accused-of-using-gemini-ai-to-track-private-communications-of-users-article-13670874.html ### Court Complaint (via PACER) Access the full filing for *Thele v. I am truly tired of hearing about how Epstein indirectly funded Bitcoin core via MIT Media Lab. Further, the Media Lab is not the “real MIT” ffs. Its a commercial bucket house. Get over yourselves

AI refuse-niks are falling not just months behind but years behind in competitive productivity. In the last 18 months, every 3 months has been another year of tooling advancement. That means if you haven't started trying the new tools, you are now 6 years behind the folks who have been onboarding themselves and the longer you wait, the higher the climb and the more likely you will be rendered completely obsolete. Obsolete, Exponentially fast.

Sometimes all that hard effort, seemingly wasted working on things that go nowhere becomes valuable years later. Other times it was just a lesson to tell you not work hard on things but its also very hard to tell in this age what is worth or not worth it.
