Tonight I helped a guy a few miles from me take down a tree that was awkwardly leaning over his house. Used some ropes to pull the top and counteract the lean. Ended up using his jeep to get enough oomf but it fell right along the path of the wedge cut and where we intended to drop it. Next time I’d start with a pulley system for mechanical advantage (photo for illustration but maybe not the wisest setup haha) image #grownostr #diy

If the US allowed raw coca leaves to be imported and sold in small quantities it would probably undercut illicit drug trafficking with almost no net negative public health consequences. 🤔

After being so used to the thick shells on my chickens’ eggs, there’s many times where I’ve splattered a commercial egg onto a countertop as I’ve forgotten how weak and anemic their shells are.
