Trying to prevent false alarms by somehow physically preventing someone from calling “Fire!” in a crowded theater would lead to others who would intentionally light the theater on fire once they knew you couldn’t call out to warn others.
I recently bought a sous-vide machine. It was less than $100 fiat tokens (aka cuck bucks) but it was great buy. It cooks steak to exactly the temperature I want before I dash it on the hot grill for a finish. I’ve used it almost every day since I bought it.
I think it’s outrageous that the US government adds a massive tax and administrative burden onto owning important safety equipment.

I’ll start:
The northernmost point of Brazil is closer to Canada than to the southern tip of Brazil. 🇧🇷

I haven’t been keeping a robust count on this but anecdotally I have had an uncanny ability to guess which notes have been shared via mostr.pub (ie propagated on Nostr protocol from the “fediverse”). They seem to have a certain type 🙄👀
