I don't usually post stuff on social networks, because my personal social circles don't really care (or are not interested) about the same things as I am. I didn't just stop posting on FB many many years ago, but I also deleted everything I posted in the past. I used to post on Twitter many years ago, but for the past few years I was there just reading and retweeting.
But Nostr feels different, so I'll try to post something about my coding and I have a very long post prepared, so this is also a warning 😄. I hope that Nostr will handle it.

I’m a fullstack developer (nodejs, graphql, postgresql, vuejs), bitcoiner, but primarily a believer in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
It would be cool if nostr supported pasting code snippets using markdown
Nostur client hijacked opening links to notes.
it's been years since I've been on a lan party

What is the best way to post images on Nostr? Upload it to nostr.build first and then post a link or use some web client?

Switched from iTerm2+OhMyZsh to Warp+Starship
I'm trying to host my profile/cover pics on my site, which is hosted on cloudflare pages, but somehow those pics won't load in iOS clients and some web clients (only nostrgram works).
Nostgram loads the url directly and puts it in css background url, snort tries to load the pics through some proxy. I edited _headers in cloudflare, but I'm probably missing something else. Any ideas?
This is in my _headers file in cloudflare:

Checking AppStore …. 2 new updates! But no #[0] update :(
In the past 10 days I started to follow more than 100 interesting people/accounts on nostr and I was also able to lower my twitter followings to 168.
Most of them are inactive anyway and those few interesting I'll start to ask/nag "when on nostr?" ... that's the plan
Trying to choose my profile pic, can’t decide between a game avatar (from my most favorite game Deus Ex, which influenced me a lot when it was released) or my laser eyes pic or a normal face photo.
According to the British government's Prevent programme, I was radicalised as a teenager because I read 1984 by Orwell and liked it :-). Oh and I also enjoyed Huxley's Brave New World, so I must be a dangerous extremist.
And if you read anything from Tolkien or C.S. Lewis, you should just report yourself and go to gulag! /s

Umbrel was my first node, then I switched to Citadel, then to Raspiblitz, then Citadel again, then Raspiblitz again, then finally I switched to #[0] EmbassyOS and I'm happy with it. My next plan (hopefully this year) is to move my node from rpi4 to x86 (Intel NUC or maybe small factor ryzen?) and use more selfhosted services.
But I must admit that yesterday I installed #[1] again in virtualbox just to check their nostr relay GUI and it looks good :).
I hope that Embassy will get something similar.
Is it just me or Damus relay is down?
Bitcoiners should be on Nostr and not on Twitter. I will slowly unfollow those few that I follow on Twitter and have not yet moved to Nostr. If they won’t migrate to Nostr soon they are not true bitcoiners in my eyes.
Running plebstr client #[0]. I wonder if I’ll stay with Damus or fully switch to Plebstr. As a happy user of Tweetoshi, Plebstr feels like “home”.
I wish Damus would open on last seen note.
If you call yourself a backend developer and can’t code some business logic in SQL then … learn it and use it properly. Your app will be faster, sometimes 1000x faster.
