Welcome to the American justice system in which the Department of Justice works hard with journalists to distract and persecute political enemies while letting true criminals enjoy the spoils of their wicked ways. I know that Trump is a polarizing figure, and I have certainly waned in my support for him due to many blunders that I think he made: pushing the vaccine, appointing Fauci, Barr, Pence, not firing Wray and not least his ignorance of bitcoin. But consider this; has anyone ever in the history of America been so loathed and attacked by the swamp and the media and Hollywood and silicone valley? That for me is a guy who must be on the side of the plebs. And, if you've read this far, then maybe now I can drop a name - when I was living in NYC in the 90s I met Mr Trump on multiple occasions. And apart from the anecdotes which are all precious to me, my experience of him was that he was very generous and genuinely interested in helping people. I concede that there is some doubt as to whether or not he is a controlled player in the big game but when looking at the overall cast of characters he is up against I think he is America's, and by default the world's, best hope.
