GN πŸŒ™ Randomly remembered today a song I heard a lot at home while growing up. Have to acknowledge that my dad had a good musical taste. Love the depth of the bass. " Larga de ser boba e vem comigo Existe um mundo novo e quero te mostrar Que nΓ£o se aprende em nenhum livro Basta ter coragem pra se libertar, viver, amar De que valem as luzes da cidade Se no meu caminho a luz Γ© natural Descansar na sombra de uma Γ‘rvore Ouvindo pΓ‘ssaros cantar, cantar..."

GM β˜€οΈβ˜• One of the big frustrations of living in foreign languages is that I'll probably never have the delight of commenting "MDDCQGCDC" to reply to annoying users and be properly understood by the peers. (Brazilians might know the meaning of the abbreviation 🀭)

GN πŸŒ™ Angine de Poitrine is honestly the best concentration music I've ever enjoyed. My brain runs extremely smooth when listening to it. Nighty night everybody! πŸ§‘πŸ’œ Here my favorite piece:

GN πŸŒ™ When you live far away from your family of origin, you just end up missing many life milestones. Birthdays, births, deaths, marriages... Missing out on those moments used to upset me a lot. After losing my father and going through other life changing experiences, I've reconnected with my faith and became calmer in regard to those moments. My mom celebrated her 76th birthday today. When I called, she was surrounded by friends and family, the table full of treats, as it used to be when I was still there, when we all were still there. I wasn't sad for not being there, but genuinely happy for having her on this Earth still, especially for her being fit enough to celebrate her special day. I'm counting the days to be there with them all once again. Love is so crucial in life. It's good to have people you love and to whom you can always turn to, regardless of where they are. It's also amazing to be able to retribute the care and love they pour over us. That's what we're made for, and one of the pillars that fulfills us as human beings.
