I’m also a monster, my son has got his phone with 12, his access is restricted with parental controls, no social media yet - I’ve already heard I’m a control freak. My daughter is 7 and has no phone, of course. She can only use some pre-defined streaming with a tablet I prepared for her.
This idea with the reward for chores in form of screen time is great.

Survived the holidays. Survived sliding 10 times or more the racer water slides. Survived the funicular ride in Heidelberg. Survived a shopping tour with my kids - not that we enjoy it, but they grow up, you know?
More than survived, we enjoyed time together. Loving each other, annoying each other equally. Now fully booked and prepared for June, this time outside of Germany.
Shocked to see that my son and I share the same shoe size. But somehow glad to have hiking shoes with orange shoestrings to borrow from when I, one day, maybe finally manage to join the BitcoinWalk in Madeira - and I don’t really care that they are men’s shoes.

Before I go into a week break from Nostr, I thought I’d throw here a question about devices:
I’m looking for an Android phone (because to me, iOS kinda sucks for freedom tech lol). One of my complaints with my Apple device is the storage space constraint and the lack of a micro SD slot, so that would be a pre-requisite for me.
I’m looking for a good cost-benefit and a friend recommended a Xiaomi 13T Pro device.
Anyone’s got experience with this device or would recommend another one? I’d also like my setup to be more compatible with the whole wallet/ Nostr/ freedom tech apps than my current iOS device…
