Never rely on irony on social media.
I once suggested that the 'halvening' should have been called a 'threequartersvening' to be more catchy and to extend the period of new issuance.
Some people took me seriously and got quite angry 😂

Rog. Mega-boomer. Still got it.
I've been interested in Gio's power law work since I discovered it about a year ago.
He's been attacked by many who should know better, but who won't retain the open mindedness they once had for bitcoin itself. The attacks are always ad hominem and never scientific.
Good to see Stephan being a leading light in the open-minded discussions.

Brilliant antidote to the 'Bitcoin fixed this' bs which many of us have fallen prey to.
I heard about his work a couple of years ago, but then forgot about it.
Very clear challenges to the prevailing groupthink. Many uncomfortable truths.

The show I supported most on fountain was
@Ungovernable Misfits
Not massive yet, but I'm definitely using @Fountain more and more.
'Zap the Devs' box comes up, but it won't let me zap the Devs! Even though my wallet is all in order.
When Giovanni is NOT in the in-crowd, but BritishHodl IS.
Something's gone horribly wrong.
Bitcoin doesn't need cheerleaders. Especially not the current crop of experts with fake 'omega candle' narratives.
Nothing against Saylor, but the party pics are cringe to me.
Don't know why, but I love these Ungernovernabubble podcasts. Even though I'm 50 years over the target audience age.

Loved this interview. Very eloquent and clear expression of ideas. OK, I don't agree with his socialism, but the analysis of where Labour has gone wrong is superb. And how Labour has betrayed family values, UK values, in fact ANY values!
Brilliant.
Must listen.

I get "Zap the Devs" message. But when I do it says "unable to send zap"
There's plenty in my wallet and it does allow me to zap individual messages.
"Granddad, where were you when bitcoin crashed to zero?"
I'm beginning to understand Nostr!
Still a long way to go but I think it will be worth it!

TOO LATE to get into bitcoin😂😂???
I just had some workmen at my house to do maintenance work.
Turns out they were fully awake to government and media fake narratives. And currency debasement.
I told them my position on #bitcoin, and they started talking about certain sh*tcoins to get in on early value.
They said they reckoned they were too late to buy bitcoin. They'd missed the boat. Sad. They couldn't lose the short-term mentality
Like saying Don't buy petrol (gas) for your car because 20 years ago it was a fraction of the price.
Oh well, at least they were part-way there.
On Nostr I sometimes want to 'like' a comment, but it just offers me a load of emojis I don't want.
How do I give an ordinary old-fashioned 'like'?
Stuff gets announced on Nostr, giving a 'starting at' time. I've usually no idea what time they're talking about, or how it relates to my UK time.
So I don't bother.
