Rog. Mega-boomer. Still got it.
Some of it was over my head, even though I have good mathematical knowledge. but Stephen Perrenod is the absolute top guy in my book. Even among bitcoiners I meet in person I'm still the only one who values the power law, but that's their loss! View quoted note →
Even after trying nostr many times, and looking at training videos, I still have no idea how to use it effectively. Each time I open it I just see a few irrelevant posts or silly graphics. Then I give up for a few months!
Super interesting to hear from such a young person who has great awareness. At the other end of the age spectrum from myself, I'm often painfully aware how little insight most people of all ages have! Robin shows again and incredible talent for tuning in to different perspectives. View quoted note →
Ideal episode. Role model for podcasters. They said early on that they had no content for this episode, and they achieved that goal by brilliantly meandering, chatting and generally killing time. 💯 % success! Well done lads! I'll be back! View quoted note →
I've used LastPass for a long time. No problems with it but I'm moving gradually over to ProtonPass during the last few months. I love it, and it's reassuring to hear that I'm doing the right thing. View quoted note →
I've always used Amethyst. Very light user! Anything I'm missing by not being a primal maxi?
Wow! I always had a bad feeling about Jack Dorsey. I was right again! Listen to Ungovernable Misfits @UGMFPodcast on fountain app from about 1hr 5mins in.
"What did you do during the Great Bitcoin Crash, grandad?" "Well, little one, I bought a large grass-fed aged sirloin steak from my local butcher. Also some Old English sausages. Also two old fashioned breast/wing free range chicken pieces. Also a traditional black pudding full circle. Then went to my local ultra-specialist coffee shop and met friends. Among other things."
"Bitcoiners got lucky" Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. [Seneca]
Mostly superb. A breath of fresh air when saying what the cowardly Tories should always have said. Two areas of concern: he kept on talking too much over the interviewer's questions, and he kept on persistently misunderstanding the questions about bitcoin, conflating it with crypto. So he sometimes sounded to me like an old boomer, even though I'm much older. View quoted note →
