Went from -17°C to +5 in one day. Hope we get some more cold weather so we can get the rest of the logs out!

Great day to haul some logs
Went to the New Years concert in Oslo yesterday, where they as always played sound music.
Among my favorites from this years concert was «Gold und Silber» op. 79 by Franz Lehár.

Carved this bird feeder with a chainsaw for my grandfathers 79th birthday.
My chainsaw disappeared during a short lunch break.
Nostr is really growing on me lately.
My secret ingredient for deep umami flavoured stews: Black trumpet mushroom spice.
Really easy to make: Just find them (they are very rare), dry them and grind them.
Lasts for decades if kept dry!

Fine grinding has started. GF got knocked to the floor a few times by the machine, but it’s getting there😂

Rough grind finished. Now filling gaps, before a second round of grinding + grinding the edges the big machine couldnt reach.

We could never forgive ourselves if we covered this floor (which my great grandfather put down in 1959) with laminate or parquet.
So we decided to attack it with some real grind💪
Lets see if we can bring it’s beauty back to life.
