Receiving some winter feed today and this guy really knows how to operate the bale grab! Always fun to watch people who know what they’re doing.

There was a spot of bare rock on one of the pastures. Spread some old manure that we cant run through any machines since it has rocks mixed in, and seeded some grasses. Hopefully they make it through the winter, and the spot will never be bare again, but rather grow a few millimeters thicker and richer for hundreds of years to come. That way, even a few square meters count. Like a bitaxe that instead of sats, gives you a few grams of meat every year.

Had a pig roast party at the farm this weekend. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Gonna make it a yearly tradition and I think already next year we will need a bigger pig!

We finally have the pleasure of announcing the second event to be held at our farm!👨‍🌾🐄🐖 On Saturday 14th of September you can join us for a course in beef butchering. A local slaughterer and butcher with passion for versatile utilization of the different muscles on the animal, will guide us through the process in two halves. It will be a combination of explaining, showing and letting everyone try themselves. We supply all the needed equipment🪚🔪 AGENDA: Before lunch: American🇺🇸 style mostly bone-in cuts like t-bone, tomahawk, short ribs and of course the infamous and maybe a bit terrifying to most Norwegians; brisket. MYSTERY LUNCH BREAK. I created this nym because I was too afraid of what employers, colleagues, friends and family would think about my opinions. Now it’s time to stand up for being a bitcoiner. I have realised that the most important influence I can have on the world around me, is to enlighten other farmers about bitcoin. The Halving Festival is hereby wheelchair friendly. These planks are cut on a local saw mill from trees I fell in my forest. Trees my great grandfather planted with future generations in mind. To raise the standards of this barn with these planks feels daaamn good🔥

Fellow Bitcoiners! We finally have the pleasure of announcing the Halving Festival. A two day celebration of the next Bitcoin epoch. This is an event by Norwegian Bitcoiners for ALL Bitcoiners! The only requirement for participation is that you can send a Bitcoin onchain/lightning transaction, since we only accept #bitcoin  payments. What date is it? Well, we dont exactly know. Because in Bitcoin land we dont follow fiat time. The event starts at the last mid-day before BTC block 840 000. If that confuses you, dont worry, we’ll keep you updated. The event will take place at my farm. It’s located 1 hour away from the capital in Norway, Oslo. The closest train station is Mysen, and we will arrange shuttle bus transport for those not travelling by car. Everyone else can park at the farm. We havent planned everything in detail yet, but here is some of the content: - Free meal of grassfed beef and roasted roosters from the farm - Full roasted wild boar over the fire - Viking competitions - Wim Hof experience - Series of talks about Bitcoin This isn't your regular conference event. In the planning of this event we prioritize authenticity above all else. We dont want it to be about big names or loud music. We want it to be about celebrating #bitcoin  and sharing values and ideas peer-to-peer. So with that said, we hope you want to celebrate with us, no matter who you are, where you come from or what you do. As long as you can send a Bitcoin transaction you’re in.
