Unpopular known fact: Governments 3 letter agencies have access to all "free" email services, they can read your emails whenever they want. This have been the case for a long time, people in general started being more aware after Snowden shed some light on that and other issues... Be wise, don't be short minded thinking that you have nothing to hide. Why? You may not be at the moment a person of interest for any given reason for the government, however, consider that some incompetent and corrupt people work in those agencies , meaning, if they have the tools to access your email accounts, cloud account, etc, so do the cybercriminals that bought it or stole it from those incompetent people,. The most dangerous ones are those belonging to criminal syndicates, organized and with massive resources ... Solution: Use a paid service, even those services have free accounts Protonmail, proton cloud. Tutanota Stay safe, migrate, get out of gmail, outlook, yandex, etc...
