nostr-rs-relay 0.8.6 now out; with support for expiring events (NIP-40) as well as authentication (NIP-42).  Cheers, and thanks to contributors #[0], #[1], #[2], and rorp!

Another major sqlite performance improvement in nostr-rs-relay just pushed to master. Rebuilds tag table so it takes a minute to upgrade, but some of the most expensive queries run 10x faster. feedback from testing welcome!
