Raw Chicken Experiment on Instagram: "Day 68: There are thousands of “experts” online that say their diet is perfect, some sell coaching, some sell supplements, they all seem convincing as hell, but they all disagree with each other. So what should we do? I like to listen to everyone, cuz I can learn something from everyone even if I disagree with part of what they believe. If following all these people makes you obsess on food in an unhealthy way, take a break from the entire scene. I disappear sometimes for weeks or months and you def stop stressing a bit. I think that we have all been poisoned by processed foods. Foods newly invented over the last 100 years. So many people are suffering and looking for a solution or something to blame. Carnivore people blame plants. But 100 years ago 99% of people were healthy and most of them were omnivore. Vegans blame meat, but 100 years ago 99% of people were healthy and they all ate meat. Keto ppl blame carbs, but people were eating healthier grains, potato, fruit, and plenty of carbs without obesity or any issues we have now. People blame cholesterol, salt and all of these things... when the answer has to be processed foods in general. Some can be environmental and medications and what not, but we should just avoid the foods invented over the last 100 years.
Vegetable oils, anything in a box with no nutrients and 800 ingredients. Everyone was fine before this. Maybe some plants aren’t optimal and people were better off before agriculture. That maybe true but blaming all of these things when the main enemy is just ultra processed food. People who have metabolic issues from these foods may not be able to handle carbs as much, lots of people heal these issues on low carb diets and can add plants after. Everyone’s situation is a bit different depending on their health, but I think the best solution is to stick to foods with one ingredient. The more single ingredient foods we eat the better we will be.
Avoid the newly invented ones. Also, most people don’t need to worry about being perfect. Nobody is perfect. I eat foods that heal me 90% of the time, and eat foods that taste good and make me feel like shit sometimes too. That’s good enough for me."
