Gonna be traveling soon for #[0] and I’m looking for book recommendations. Nostr friends, what should I read?

Doing my best to ensure that Nostr isn’t just a Nostr/Bitcoin echo chamber. So here’s a giant chuck roast I got from my favorite local rancher. Sorry, #[0], but I did cook this. image

What are the most important features for a paid relay? What features would you like to see in a paid relay?

Brand new feature in #[0] Wallet! Search users across Nostr (and Lightning Addresses) and pay them directly. Amazing work by #[1] and #[2] Here’s me tipping #[3] for some cool stuff he’s built.

Right now the experience using Nostr on the web is really nice bc you can keep your keys on a browser extension (Kollider Wallet, Alby, etc) and easily switch between clients. What will be the equivalent for mobile? Or will each client just require a manual import of your key?

Having a Lightning web wallet that *also* holds your Nostr keys is such a killer setup. Lightning Login, Lightning Address, Nostr Login, Nostr verification, zaps, and payments. All in one place. Makes using Nostr and Lightning apps such a joy. https://kollider.xyz/wallet

Maybe this is a long-shot, but maybe not. Lots of evidence recently about social media and its negative effects on mental health, especially that of teens. It's pretty compelling stuff. Does Nostr offer an opportunity to fundamentally change social media for the better? I'm honestly not sure, but if we can do it we should try.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how we can get the word out about Nostr beyond Bitcoin Twitter echo chambers. Not to mass onboard users-- I still think it's too early for that. But to get more developers and builders interested. I've talked to a lot of people lately who are fairly knowledgeable about crypto, tech, etc who have zero idea what Nostr is. I think there are a lot of people who will find Nostr extremely interesting, not just because of the Bitcoin angle, but because of an interest in free speech, open communication protocols, cryptography, etc. How do we reach them?

#[0] do you have a link to the Fiatjaf "how Jack's money is being used" doc you mentioned on the podcast? I can't find it.
