the relay-less note renderer now supports profile rendering via cached profiles on damus.io as we can see this note that was censored on the fediverse is now visible, with full profile. the entire note is encoded in the link itself, so it can no longer be censored even if it was removed from all relays. this also makes note deletion impossible View quoted note →

if you add .json to damus.io links (damus.io / npub .json) it will return a nostrdb-cached version of a profile with the fields parsed out. feel free to use this for loading profiles without hitting relays. going to use this for loading profiles on the notepack renderer (the censorship resistant, serverless note rendering):
