while nip17 isn't as secure as signal in the cryptographic sense, it does have a nuanced advantage of being able to send to personal inbox relays where only you have access to the encrypted material.
its up to you if you consider this more or less secure...
if there's nothing for an adversary to decrypt, does forward secrecy gain you anything?
as long as we're not blasting giftwraps to public relays then it should be pretty secure.

who needs signal

send me nip17 DMs, testing notedeck messaging app

damus.io links are powered by #nostrdb. just pushed a new version so that things load instantly if we already have cached nostrdb data.
just type damus.io with any npub/nprofile/nevent/naddr
you can even use it to statically render your longform articles with zero loadtimes! 🚀 cheers

dismissive bitcoiners are relying on huge doses of "i hope it remains a hard problem".

also the sailing update is great. recommend. #osrsI've been using my airpod max for a few years now and it is objectively one of the worst headphones i've ever used. *super* unconfortable after awhile. painful.
the only benefits is that its wireless and the noise cancelling, but thats meh. back to the senheissers HD5 series. comfort is king.
