Day 122 of #100pushups until #Bitcoin hits $100k. 25x4 throughout the day. Listening to my older coworkers tell tales and tall stories of even older coworkers long gone is such a surreal feeling. These are people I’ve never met and never will meet, but their legacy still lives on; their lives are not lost. You do not have to be well known, or super successful to leave a lasting impression on others; your memory lives on in the people you touch. Live your life to the fullest. Have fun, go on adventures, do stupid stuff, do smart stuff, do stuff no other person would do, and be yourself. And when the day comes, you’ll never truly be gone as long as your life and your achievements are remembered.

You will spend hours learning and setting everything up. But the future You will be smarter, wiser, and thankful for today’s efforts. Be in control of your money, your data, your life, so they will be harder to take away from you.

The claim that #bitcoin has no “intrinsic value”, besides its scarcity, is senseless. Sure, a bitcoin might not be a physical coin (even though electrons and bits in logic gates on a computer are equally as real as the atoms in a gold bullion), but the service Bitcoin provides is valuable. It’s the only money that is on a decentralized and verifiable open ledger; the only money that’s infinitely divisible; the only money that can be held in one’s head across time and space; the only money that’s non-inflationary (and in some instances deflationary); the only money that is cryptographically secure; the only money that is purposefully engineered to be money; and much more. “Bitcoin doesn’t physically exist, it has no value.” If that’s true then no piece of information ever has any value — that’s a verifiably false assumption (philosophy, language, science…)
