I always wondered why Easter changed days… turns out it is based on the full moon:

It’s worth pointing out on Easter that Christianity contributed to western civilization by creating the concept of rebirth/redemption. That it is possible to have your old self die and start again. That a community should be careful not to judge people harshly because everyone has failings and that casting someone out permanently doesn’t allow for growth only permanent fighting for power. Cultures need forgiveness. Without it, we are ruled by frightened mobs that sacrifice individuals in a vain attempt to feel secure in an uncertain world. Christian philosophy creates a place for the sovereign individual- it implores every person to avoid the magnetic pull of joining a mob of angry people and it offers everyone redemption from their failings; new life.
