I hate seatbelt alarms. I wear a seatbelt 99.99% of the time, but sometimes it doesn't make sense to wear a seatbelt, like when I’m driving around my yard with a load of mulch in the back of my truck. And in those cases, I would like my seatbelt alarm to kindly go fuck itself. I paid for this truck, its mine, I own it 100%, it has no free will. So how DARE my truck yell at me like that. “Shut the fuck up, fucking slave truck, I own you and I command you to stop that fucking dinging.” All vehicle alarms should be silenceable; I want control over my own property, and I don’t want to have to rewire it or get some aftermarket hack to get it to do what I want. This is why I don’t like what Core is doing in v30. Stop taking away features I want to control, it’s MY node, not yours. So, in order to be hated by all, I run knots and turn off the filters, because I fucking can. GM nostr ☕ PV 💜

I've been playing around with AI a lot more over the last month or so and here is my general conclusion so far. AI is the epitome of fake it till you make it. As in AI is great at pretending to be an expert on something. It can give you all the smart sounding talking points. But you have to push it really hard to get any kind of real talking points. AI sucks at giving me material for a Bitcoin meetup because it so clearly does not understand Bitcoin meetup culture... It has no idea how to hit the actually important highlights or takeaways or insights from a news article. If I start feeding it transcripts of Bitcoin podcasts, however , it can get closer. But that's a PITA and I'd rather just do it myself... It'll come out better anyway.
