Monerotalk should consider renaming itself to Trashtalk. Anyone who knows me knows that I am by no means an opponent of Monero and how tired I am of Bitcoininfluencertalk, but apparently they have also started drinking a bit too much of their own cool-aid. So much stupid stuff is beeing told there recently that I can hardly list it here. More and more shilling POS and shitcoins, giving Ethereum more benefit than to Bitcoin, constantly pretending that Monero can somehow scale magically but Bitcoin can’t and that Bitcoin is sooooo transparent that even owning a skyscraper in Manhattan is more private than owning Bitcoin 😂 This is the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard. Anyway, probably another Podcast I won‘t listen to anymore. Too bad. It used to be a good one.

Today #wot saved Nostr for me. Thank you @utxo the webmaster 🧑‍💻 for making me aware of this. I had no clue.

Ok, eventually I got rid of spam on #damus too and I also made sure I’m not missing DMs (except for the gift-wrapped ones of course which should be the only ones you use) by adding these three relays in addition to my six wot-relays: wss://inbox.nostr.wine wss://relay.0xchat.com wss://auth.nostr1.com So far everything works fine and the experience is clean. @0xchat does your relay transmit only DMs or are you pro-actively filtering spam?

Why am I even paying for nostr.wine? It literally does nothing for my Nostr experience. Spam everywhere. But adding the WOT-relays is a gamechanger. Everything is clean now.

There’s always something which is wrong with #damus The AppStore version changes to darkmode sometimes for whatever reason and the TestFlight version has a horrible UX. I cannot save pictures anymore and scrolling leads to swiping right or left by accident far too often. So annoying…
