Today was the day of my mom’s big move to the “independent living” senior place a mile away. The movers put her furniture and art and heavy stuff in a big truck and toodled off. They’re still unpacking over there while I console the poor cats, who are waiting at the window for her to return.

The bad news is my 2024 GENDER WARS cards suggestion form vanished. The good news is it was my own stupid fault ("clean up Google account" mistake) and nothing nefarious. Please help me start over at

Tiffany makes an interesting point:
*Amanda Knox is an example of something I’ve touched on before.
Women surrounded by the attempt to make male fetish & objectification the definition of womanhood slowly but surely find themselves distancing themselves from femininity. You’ll hear of transwidows no longer wearing makeup, pretty undergarments, or anything feminine, either for fear of their resident autogynephile using it, or the fear that they’re perpetuating stereotypes of women by indulging in the performance of femininity.
There’s a reason so many young, female trans ‘allies’ become non-binary - they know they aren’t men, but they desperately need to be something other than women because of their subconscious disgust for what womanhood has come to mean in their in-group.
Men/boys are chasing the women/girls who support them straight out of femininity, but the sad joke is on them, because whether they cut off their hair, lop off their breasts, or make other pitiful attempts to virtuously signal that they are more than lipstick and skirts - they’re still going to be expected to birth the children, clean the house, cook the dinner, and drive the kids back and forth to their therapy appointments because men want the Pornhub/Onlyfan version of womanhood, not the actual grind.
Enjoy your stupid shirt @MavenofMayhem but what you’ll never get to enjoy is escaping from the biological reality of having brought this shit onto yourself.*

Typical social media manoeuvre: "Look at this awesome thing by Nina Paley!" "She's a TERF (and some lies)" "Oh dear, I didn't know."

I'm making a Newbie's Guide to the GENDER WARS, for friends who still have no idea who these people are. 10 down, 42 to go. Anyone interested in writing the rest? Examples at https://www.heterodorx.com/gender-wars-guide/
Can pay in card decks.
A tiny portion of the first shipment of GENDER WARS cards has arrived! And I've been working on a new web store in hopes of managing this enterprise better, but I haven't tested it yet. You can try to order them at and see what happens!

Should I start a TERF bicycling club? It could be international and people could create local chapters. It doesn't have to be TERF-only, or even women-only; I'd happily include everyone, even trannies. What I don't want is the bullshit walking-on-eggshells experience I have in my local bike club.
For example, this morning I went on a club ride and did chit-chat and mentioned I’m going to the ICONS of sport conference in Denver, because I want men out of women’s sports, and the guy adjacent to me said, “you mean transwomen??” and I said, “they’re men” and he said, “well I have no opinion, except it sounds an awful lot like when they kept black players out of the National Baseball League.”
Here's a blog post I wrote last year which should give an idea of my local bike club's social environment:
