GN after another busy day in my new home. Hung in there and got it all done. Big accreditation visit tomorrow; first big milestone in my newest job. Will be up and out of my empty (but now cleaner) house early tomorrow

Had this coming:

GM. Feeling pensive today, as I prepare for university accreditation activities tomorrow at work and host move-in housecleaners at my new place. I'm temporarily living alone (while my family closes up the prior house) for the first time since 1999 and it's so weird to be the only adult who can take care of things. This week alone has been the biggest reinforcement of why a good marriage is vital to human flourishing

Made an IKEA run to get some things for my new place, meaningfully driving in some Austin traffic for the first time. People here drive like downtown Chicago only faster. And the lanes marked on the roads are way narrower than in Phx. Wild! GN!
