GM! Just finished reading "The Tipping Point" by Malcom Gladwell. Obviously, since we are on NOSTR, there are some insane overlaps. The Law of the Few: you need only a few specific people to make an idea or thing spread like wildfire. A range of people are needed that are from being connected with social people, all the way to hyper social people that know everyone. Stickiness Factor: how well and long does an epidemic of an idea stay over time. Context: changing certain things in an idea epidemic can it make it go parabolical or die out. Removing Graffiti from the subway leads to reduced crime-rate. Experimentation: Trying out new things doesn't lead most of the time to addictive behaviour, 99% of the time. It should be encouraged to experiment instead of preventing. For some, the book might have some obvious statements, they easy readability and compelling points make it worth to read. I would love to hear/read Malcom Gladwells opinion about NOSTR and Bitcoin and how he would apply these things to those topics. Maybe we are currently witnessing a Tipping Point?

After two months of going Google-free on my HiSense A9, I appreciated the benefits; like amazing battery life and a break from constant ads. But, I kept finding myself reaching for another phone for essential tasks: navigation, ChatGPT, syncing apps, updates, and booking services. Yesterday I caved in and couldn't take it anymore, and went into great lengths to reinstall Google services on the A9, aiming to consolidate everything on one phone while maintaining the healthier, blue-light-free experience of the E Ink display. Now, I'm hoping for a balanced, more intentional phone experience, however blue light free and less distracting. Now rocking it with GApps. But this hasn't been the last fight ;)
