Hello nostr! 👋 I’ve been on primal for a couple weeks now and I’m loving the community I’ve found in those who value personal sovereignty, FOSS, decentralization, freedom, and autonomy. Honestly it blew my mind when I realized that nostr was a protocol that enabled me to carry over my entire online persona regardless of client (signed in via Damus and was like 🤯), that’s just unheard of in the centralized social networks that were normalized before I found nostr. it’s awesome seeing the influx of new users from the @npub1xr7t...2gqh video, that’s the kind of content we need to (create and) share what is possible here with everyone still oblivious to the gift of the decentralized internet. I’m still learning a ton, and I’m grateful for the nostriches that have guided me from the first steps of making my nostr account to setting up my first full bitcoin node over the weekend! (Shoutout to @npub1ysxn...zld9, @Dr. Nickamoto, FM, @npub1xnad...z5lt, @Simply Greeny and more!) also, are hashtags important on nostr? I'm under the impression that hashtags were not as big of a deal as they once were on platforms like X and IG but I don't know 100% how they impact discoverability #nostrhelp #test #help

on nostr if I reply to my own note, can followers see that reply as it's own note in their feed? or would I need to repost that for them to see it?

when I open this app it genuinely fascinates me how early we are either we’re crazy early or just crazy 😂 but it’s one or the other!

this morning I will fly a plane for the first time! my partner gifted me with a flying lesson with a licensed instructor it’ll be fun to look back on this day when I get my own license ✈️
