My new so to say hobby is, creating guides as gifts. I created a hair health recovery guide, plus bought handpicked products next to it as a gift. I could buy prepackaged stuff, but they are not creative, and not all-rounder I wanted my gift to be. Then I made a short healthy eating guide with handpicked products we eat, as a next handmade gift. This was more a short and non-complex version, not to scare them away. Now I am working on a career coaching guide book. Somehow its a tradition now to make handmade helpful guides as gifts. I am at refinement phase for the career coaching guide. It became pretty long, so it has multiple options for all steps, guides for everything. If the user has a friend to help, there is even guide for the guide. I like this type of gift, it can be personal, the effort is visible, merges creativity, research, and supportiveness. I am using AI of course. But there is still work to be done to make it nice, logical, add the human friendly factor to it. LG! πŸ”₯ #nostr
Aim too high, set seemingly unachievable goals Two benefits: 1️⃣ Forces you to think outside of your box, outside your common frameworks, because those frameworks tell you, you cannot achieve it. So if you really want to achieve it, you have to use unconventional tools. 2️⃣ Even if you fail, you might reach more than you would by making achievable goals.
Learn to love what you produce. If you love your results, you will care less about peoples opinion, or engagement. At least you will have one true fan. If you want engagement, you can still go to other people, and respond to what they have to say. This is how you are the change you want to see in the world.
Tension can be a game changer. Why is that, when a teacher says, do you have any question, only a few or none answers. Only few people defeats their anxiety to speak. But when a teacher directly asks a student, do you have any question, most of the students can defeat their anxiety to speak? Both are situations with tension. But in one, the tension comes from speaking, and in the other, it comes from not speaking. I think this is a game changer if you learn how to use the right tension. #nostr #philosophy #psychology View quoted note β†’
1️⃣ Make a totally free product that works fine on its own and users can take their data any time. 2️⃣ Make a premium on top, that adds extra value that cannot be ignored. Sell the premium. I think this is a valid value proposition, that makes sustainable solutions. Nothing is totally free. On the other hand, we shall strive to make products that are usable totally free by earning its cost through other non-obtrusive, ethical ways. This way we give chance to people who do not have the financial means to use certain products to improve their lives, earn more capital and later thank our support either by time or donation. An ethically free product is financial inclusivity. You never know where real help will come from, so value each people life brings you to.
When some belongs to a certain worldview, its hard to understand, why would someone else decide on an alternative. "Sonder" is a word popularized by the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, and describes the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as our own with their ambitions, worries, routines, relationships, and backstories. Its an emotional insight about the depth and richness of other peoples inner lives. #philosophy
Leveraging eachothers work is the way to perpetual succeess. If we build on eachother, if we are successful, what we have built upon becomes more successful. If what we have built upon becomes more successful, we become more successful. Leveraging eachothers work is not a zero sum game. Its synergy. Lets grow together. πŸ’œ
GM! πŸ’œ My mission is to lift others up. Lets help eachother to grow, and become our best selfs, so we can easier give back. Give. Listen. Grow. Help. Lets do this mission together. πŸ«‚
We change because of tension. We, all, have our own internal monologue. We do things that fit with our worldview. We do things that people like us do. We have our own patterns. When we face tension, we try to relieve the tension. If the tension can only be relieved by changing, we change. E.g.: When the waiter, or seller gives us the card payment terminal, and it shows fix percentages for tips (and the zero tip is hidden), its tension. They are looking us. What can we do? Changing to a new app is also tension, vs not changing. What will be then the general move?
