This free educational workshop for the local community was made possible thanks to the fantastic Bitcoin Basin ( @Nell from The Bitcoin Basin Queenstown ) initiative, which is powered by @npub1eltp...mk2v , the best Bitcoin-only exchange in New Zealand. Short appreciation post for two projects that, combined, have become in my experience one of the most effective orange pilling tools: @Wallet of Satoshi + @BTC Map . I think it is currently very underrated how incredibly easy it is to send and receive sats through WOS. No KYC, no delays, no fees... just download and you’re good to go. I have hosted over 50 #Bitcoin workshops and I’ve never had a single error or issue. More than 105 people have started their Bitcoin Journey by experiencing firsthand how seamless it is to receive the soundest money ever created. ⚡ The impact multiplies when attendants visualize on BTC Map all the colorful circles that represent the thousands of merchants that already accept #Bitcoin as payment worldwide. It is at that moment that #Bitcoin mutates from a complex theoretical abstraction to a tangible and usable technology.
