I tried @SoapMiner a few months ago for the first time based on recommendation from @Marty Bent on Twitter. Mind blowingly good product. I’ll never use anything else.

I never made a penny on Twitter. In 2 days on nostr I’ve made ~1,000 sats. This is fun.

Some people asked why I hated #nostr last time I tried it. I think open source is inherently more difficult to get good user interface (same as lightning wallets IMO) and I didn’t see the need to sacrifice that for open source when it comes to Twitter. I tried Damus back then and didn’t like it at all. It wasn’t clunky. However, as I spent more time on Twitter the amount of time being wasted kept going up. Especially since Elon took over. It wasn’t a tool anymore. I feel like the algorithm was being improved to keep me on more and more to the benefit of Twitter. I want to take back control of what I see and how I spend my time. I’m off Twitter for good.

Got my first zaps last night thanks to @ODELL. Feels good.
