4/25/2026 - There’s always something unfinished. Something I could keep pushing on, refining, or trying to complete. If I wait for everything to feel “done” before I step away, it never really happens. So I’m learning (slowly) to leave things where they are. Not because they’re finished, but because they don’t have to be right now. #Sabbath #Rest #Process

4/25/2026 - I’m starting to see that stopping work doesn’t automatically lead to rest. I can step away from everything and still feel like I’m carrying it. So maybe the real question isn’t whether I’m working or not. It’s whether I’ve actually let go of it, even for a little while. #Sabbath #Rest #Work #Faith

4/25/2026 - Week of April 19–25 - Added Books page (4/20) - Added Open Source page (4/21) - Updated direct order links on Books page (4/23) - Added Why Continuum page (4/24) - Improved site clarity and messaging across mycontinuum.xyz - Fixed buttons and links across Chrome, Safari, and Brave - Updated styling on stories.mycontinuum.xyz - Verified all links working on stories site - Resumed writing cadence (3 articles / 3 notes per day) Quiet week, but important. Less about building new things, more about making Continuum clearer and easier to use. That work compounds. #continuum #buildinpublic #weekly #progress #localfirst #nostr #writing #sovereignty

4/23/2026 - Why This Bothers Me It’s not personal. It’s not even political. It’s the quiet assumption that money must be managed, controlled, and expanded. But what if money isn’t supposed to be engineered at all? What if it’s supposed to be discovered? #Bitcoin #SoundMoney #Sovereignty #Continuum

4/23/2026 - The “Necessary System” Narrative “The Fed was necessary because of chaos before it.” That’s the story. But every system justifies itself that way. Control is always introduced as the solution— even when it becomes the source of the problem. #Economics #History #Bitcoin #Truth

4/23/2026 - After the Fed Conversation Spoke with someone from the Federal Reserve tonight. Smart. Thoughtful. Sincere. But the framework never gets questioned. “What if the system itself is the problem?” That question rarely gets asked—let alone answered. #Bitcoin #Money #FirstPrinciples #Continuum

4/24/2026 - Write Once, Render Everywhere? “Write once, render everywhere” sounds solved. It’s not. Different clients. Different rules. Markdown here. HTML there. Broken in between. The protocol is shared. The experience is fragmented. Portability of content isn’t just about data— it’s about presentation too. We’re closer than before. But not done. #Nostr #Publishing #Continuum #OpenProtocols

4/24/2026 - Who Owns Your Identity? Most people don’t own their identity. They lease it. Email. Username. Profile. Audience. All issued—none truly held. A real identity isn’t granted. It’s derived, signed, and kept. If you can’t take it with you, it was never yours. #Identity #SelfSovereign #Nostr #Continuum

4/24/2026 - I Object I object—not loudly, not emotionally, but clearly. I object to systems that assume control over what I create, where I publish, and how I’m allowed to exist online. Authorship is not a feature. It’s a right. If I can’t sign it, I don’t own it. If I can’t move it, it’s not mine. #IObject #DigitalSovereignty #Nostr #Continuum

4/22/2026 - Most people won’t choose freedom if it feels like extra work. That’s just reality. So the challenge isn’t to convince them. It’s to design something where: they can create immediately nothing gets taken away and they own it without thinking about it Make it simple, obvious and THEIRS #sovereignty #freedom #ownership #ux #localfirst #continuum

4/22/2026 - Convenience matters. It always has. That’s why people use platforms that don’t give them control — because they’re easy. So the answer isn’t to reject convenience. It’s to build systems where: the easiest thing to do is also the right thing to do. #sovereignty #freedom #ownership #ux #localfirst #continuum

4/22/2026 - Make the easy path the sovereign path. If the only way to keep control of your work is to jump through hoops, most people won’t do it. Not because they don’t care. Because they’re busy. Convenience isn’t the enemy. It’s the delivery mechanism. The goal isn’t to force people to choose sovereignty. It’s to make sovereignty the default. #sovereignty #freedom #ownership #ux #localfirst #continuum

4/21/2026 A circular economy is not built by apps. It’s built when: you pay someone in sats they pay someone else in sats and it doesn’t go back to fiat in between That’s when something new starts to form. #Bitcoin #Lightning #CircularEconomy

4/21/2026 Most “crypto economies” try to bootstrap value with tokens. A Bitcoin circular economy works the opposite way. The value already exists. The challenge is not creating money — it’s keeping it moving. #Bitcoin #Lightning #Sats #CircularEconomy

4/21/2026 A circular economy built on sats doesn’t start with infrastructure. It starts with people choosing to transact directly: Earn in sats. Spend in sats. Support others doing the same. No tokens. No abstractions. No layers on top. Just value moving between real people. #Bitcoin #Lightning #CircularEconomy #Sats

4/20/2026 Thinking about adding an Open Source section to the site. Not everything will be open immediately — but eventually it will be. Open source is not just about code. It’s about transparency, reproducibility, and trust. You should be able to see how something works — not just use it. #Continuum #OpenSource #Transparency #LocalFirst #BuildInPublic #DigitalSovereignty

4/20/2026 Working on direct book purchases (outside of Amazon). Not because Amazon is bad — but because direct relationships matter. Same idea as Continuum: Own your identity. Own your work. Own the connection to the people who value it. Even small steps in that direction are worth it. #Continuum #Bitcoin #Sovereignty #DirectOwnership #CreatorEconomy #SelfCustody

4/20/2026 Added a Books section to mycontinuum.xyz. Feels like a small change, but it matters. The ideas behind Continuum don’t live only in code — they’re being worked out in writing as well. Software shows what’s possible. Books explain why it matters. Both are necessary. #Continuum #Writing #Books #SovereignCreator #LocalFirst #DigitalOwnership

Lots of Small Refinements Today (4/18/2026) Nothing dramatic today. Just a series of small refinements across the product site. Tightened wording. Adjusted layout. Removed a few points of confusion. Individually, none of it feels significant. But taken together, it changes how the whole thing reads. Continuum is becoming clearer — not because of one big idea, but because of many small corrections. Less friction. Less explanation needed. More obvious what it is (and what it isn’t). This kind of work is easy to dismiss. But it’s also the work that makes everything else possible. #Continuum #BuildingInPublic #LocalFirst #SelfCustody #IndieDev #ProductDevelopment
