# Old Twitter handle hacked This week my old Twitter handle got hacked. X support? Silence. On Nostr, this isn’t possible. I own my keys. My content. My multiple identities. Continuum makes this seamless. Web2: you rent your identity. Web3: you pawn it to a token. Nostr: you own it — fully, forever. 🔑⚡️

# 🚀 Continuum v1.4 milestone 🚀 Continuum v1.4 milestone: I just imported my LinkedIn profile — and published it as a sovereign Nostr identity (complete with kind:0 metadata). No OAuth. No scraping. No API keys. Just exported ZIP → parsed JSON → signed + published. One identity. Many contexts. Fully portable.

TURNING THE WALLED GARDEN INTO AN OASIS Started the process for importing data from my LinkedIn account. I’ve started working with ChatGPT to categorize my LinkedIn posts, articles, and profile — mapping them to Nostr event types (1, 30023, and 0 respectively). Eventually I want to create posts and articles here and have them automatically crossposted to LinkedIn — using my npub identity that’s linked to my LinkedIn profile. I’m publishing outside the walled garden — but creating a two-way bridge to LinkedIn, allowing both import and export of content. For all practical purposes, LinkedIn becomes just another relay — a lens through which my content is viewed, not the source. Walled gardens can be peaceful places to visit, a break from the noisy street — but they lose their value when you’re not free to leave. I’d rather treat LinkedIn as an oasis: a spot to reflect, not a place to live. #linkedin #nostr #data-sovereignty #continuum #continuum-pro

image Day 7 – The Rest that Builds “Ua lawa mākou i ka pō mahalo.” We are content with the night of gratitude. Sovereignty isn’t just a political idea. It’s a rhythm. A cadence. A deep breath. On the seventh day, even God rested. Not because He was tired, but because rest is part of creation. I started this series thinking about sovereignty in terms of land, history, Bitcoin, even identity. But I end it with a quiet realization: true sovereignty includes the right to rest. To breathe. To not hustle. To be whole. That’s what’s missing in much of the “revolution” talk — both in Hawaiian movements and in tech. Too often we chase something external, trying to prove we belong or we’ve won. But the deepest sovereignty is inner. You can own land and still be a slave to anxiety. You can hold Bitcoin and still be poor in spirit. What I want — what I believe we all want — is integration. A sovereignty that includes body and soul. That welcomes others but isn’t performative. That defends truth but also honors silence. We aren’t just building tech stacks or legal frameworks or homesteads. We’re building a people. A way of life. A new song for the land — whether in Hawai‘i, Palestine, Israel, America, or somewhere in between. So today, I rest. Not because the fight is over — but because the foundation is laid. Bitcoin has taught me that. Not everything must move fast. In fact, what lasts usually moves slowly. On this seventh day, I remember the ‘āina. I remember my friends. I remember God. And I say, from a place of peace: Ua mau ke ea o ka ʻāina i ka pono. The life of the land is preserved in righteousness. Akamai sovereignty begins here.

🌺 Akamai Sovereignty — Day 6: True Aloha Respects Property Aloha isn’t just a greeting. It’s a way of being — rooted in love, respect, and responsibility. But too often, "aloha" is weaponized: used to justify handouts, hostility, or control. True aloha respects boundaries. And real sovereignty means building something of your own — not demanding what someone else has. 🟠 Land back? Only if it's freely sold. 🟠 Leasehold (like Bishop Estate) restricts real ownership. It’s control dressed as culture. 🟠 You can’t own land on a reservation, in most of Israel, or most of the Arab world. That’s not sovereignty — that’s dependence. 🟠 Bitcoin gives us a model: total ownership, zero censorship — but you must earn it. Sovereignty = Ownership + Responsibility. No shortcuts. No guilt leverage. Just honest work, free exchange, and respect. Do I really want sovereignty — or do I want someone else to build my paradise for me? Do I honor my ancestors by reclaiming land — or by building new value? Let’s choose the harder path — and the freer one. #akamaisovereignty #bitcoin #aloha #ownership #responsibility #proofOfWork #hawaii #freedom ✍️ Written with help from ChatGPT ⚡️ Zap if this stirred something.

image 🪧 Day 5 – Ownership Is Sovereignty Hawaiians had private property rights long before the overthrow. The Kingdom of Hawai‘i enshrined land ownership in a way that was radical for its time — a monarchy acknowledging the right of the common person to own land. That right didn’t disappear after annexation. But over time, much of the land was consolidated — under trusts like the Bishop Estate — and today, most people in Hawai‘i can’t buy the land they live on. They lease it. Even on Native American reservations — land meant to restore sovereignty — the land is often held in community trusts. It’s not truly private. You can’t just buy a parcel and pass it to your children fee simple. I don’t believe that helps anyone. Whether you're Hawaiian or not, born here or moved here — true sovereignty means being able to own and steward your own land. Today, I hold a piece of sovereignty in my pocket. Not a deed, but Bitcoin. It’s the only truly sovereign property in the world: Portable Permissionless Defended by work, not politics And while it’s not a substitute for land — it does give us a way to reclaim something deeper. A foundation. A store of time, labor, value. In a world where nearly every square inch is claimed by governments or trusts… Bitcoin gives us something no one can confiscate. That’s why I believe this matters — not just for Hawaiians, but for everyone who’s ever longed to build something and pass it on. #Bitcoin #Hawaii #Sovereignty #LandBack #ProofOfWork #Akamai

Don’t Trade One False Narrative for Another Bitcoiners, Christians, and freedom-seekers: Questioning the mainstream is good. But questioning everything isn’t sovereignty — it’s drift. Sometimes the most rebellious thing you can do is repent, follow Jesus, and submit to the Spirit. 📝 Full article: ⚡ Zap if it resonates: andrewgstanton@primal.net

image 🏝️ Day 4: Land and Legacy If there's one thread that ties sovereignty, history, and dignity together — it's land. In the Kingdom of Hawai‘i, private property rights were respected. Land could be owned, stewarded, and passed down. That matters. After the overthrow, some of those rights became tangled in trust structures, leaseholds, and institutional control. Take the Bishop Estate — one of the largest private landowners in Hawai‘i. It predates the overthrow, and while I respect its role and legacy, I also believe: Allowing more land to be sold fee simple (not just leased) would benefit everyone — Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian alike. Today, much of the land under Bishop Estate can’t be purchased — only leased. You can’t truly be sovereign if you can’t own the land you live on. That’s not unique to Hawai‘i. I can’t buy land on Indian reservations. I can’t buy land from the Bishop Estate. I can’t buy land in most of Israel, or in most of the Arab world. True sovereignty starts with the ability to own land — and to sell it to anyone, freely. We need to rethink what it means to honor legacy while also embracing freedom. And that means asking tough questions about land access, ownership, and trust. #Bitcoin #PropertyRights #AlohaAina #Sovereignty #ProofOfWork #Decentralization
