In a car with my parents and brother driving home to Michigan. Swiping through Knicks game highlights and thinking about past times in the city.

My dad deletes texts from everyone out of habit.
Earlier this year I showed him “share my location” and he loves checking in on me. I love that he does.
Every now and then I’ll get text “I lost the thread” because he deleted it and that’s the navigation path he knows to check my location ☺️
