Getting after it.
It’s been a big adjustment working in a non-gov events capacity after 2024. I’ve realized that people largely think 7 weeks lead time to execute an event is short. In gov you’ve 5-7 days max, maybe if it’s international, 2 weeks. 🧘🏽♀️#PresentMoment

Create more than you criticize.
Create more than you compare.
“Do you still believe in one another?”

Today I almost became one of those “I’ve had a full day of meetings.” people. Nope! Won’t allow it 🙂↔️ #PresentMoment

Power Nap at 9:08am. Hopefully that restarts the day ☺️

There’s one person whose notes get renoted in my timeline sometimes, and I negative visceral reaction every single time. 🙃Someone may feel that way about me though soooo such is life!
An aspect of work that AI has made infinitely simpler for me: sifting through vendor menus
I called my mom and asked her what her sleep score was. She said 90. I said “that’s so great yay mom!” and she asked me mine. I said 77 and she said “well…that’s almost 80!”
77 is way lower than 90 but she still was affirming and encouraging; love you mom 🥹🩷
Remember how I lost access to my Google workspace? I turned it into a positive by making an impact report since I had 4,230 emails that I needed to sort though ☺️
Kinda proud of this because it’s non-gov work, and just my charitable org impact by the numbers from 2020-2024:
🫱🏽🫲🏻38: organizations implementing language access
🎤139: events (52 in-person, 7 hybrid, 80 virtual)
⏳164 hours, 5 minutes: of language access provided
🤟🏾247: ASL interpreters secured
⌨️14: CART Captions secured
🇪🇸2: Translators secured
Peak month annually: June
Slowest month annually: January
Highest traffic months: June, July, August, October, November
Right! ☺️

Really want to incorporate nostr in an upcoming community activation I’m
hosting on mental health action
That nostr can be a tool for mental wellness, community, and free expression. How open, decentralized platforms reduce the psychological stress of algorithmic suppression, isolation, and lack of autonomy in online spaces.
Alas. People will be like “Angela, what?”
Fair joke
